Rideal

Research network about metropolitan areas in Europe and Latin America, consisting of centres, institutes or departments, linked to universities, which work in the research, formation and spreading of material about metropolitan areas and which have these as one of their principal research targets. To strengthen the knowledge and research know-how of the participating institutions and of the associated researchers, between and towards other linked institutions or networks.

Aims

To coordinate initiatives for the realisation of seminars, videoconferences or edition of publications and other activities related to this network.
To promote a continuous diffusion of the publications of every institution in the subject concerned, as well as with related entities.
To establish mechanisms of promotion and spreading of post-graduate students and doctorate works in universities or centres of superior education in Latin America and Europe about metropolitan areas.
